James Clarke is a start-up strategy consultant who has worked as an educator, journalist, event manager and insurance underwriter in Tokyo, Sydney, Amsterdam, the US and London. He holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and stood as an independent candidate for Bermondsey and Old Southwark in the 2017 general election.

Carla Burns works for the NHS in HR and Organisational Development, having graduated with a degree in Psychology and French at the University of Liverpool. She is passionate about people and building a better more just society. She stood for Renew in Sefton Central in the last general election.

James Torrance
James is one of Renew’s founders and an accountant with a London Business School MBA. He has worked in India, China and Northern Ireland and was a world champion in 2014 in competitive debating. James was the Kensington independent candidate in the last general election and lives in London.
Richard Breen
Richard Breen
Richard is one of Renew’s founders and a property developer based in London. Richard helped set up Renew to tackle the UK’s problems in the aftermath of the divisive EU referendum.
David Britten
David Britten
David has had a varied career in a number of different sectors, including the Metropolitan Police and the tech industry. He has also spent time living and working in France as a start-up consultant and Head of Operations at a petrochemical company. Having returned to the UK, David ran as Renew’s Battersea candidate.
Emanuel Draghetti
Emanuel Draghetti
Emanuel is a website designer and Renew’s invaluable IT expert. Originally from Milan, Italy, Emanuel arrived in the UK in early 2018 and has been with Renew ever since. His surname means “little dragons” in Italian. A keen cook and traveller, Emanuel is passionate about helping Renew in its vision to reboot politics in the UK.
